The Narwhal!
Now, a lot of people think Narwhals are fake. They arent. I'm sure some of you have seen a narwhal in the 2008 hit "Elf" starring Will Ferrell. They look, and are the same thing as you saw in the movie but, they OBVIOUSLY can not talk.
Narwhal's horns may seem like it's coming out their heads but it's not. Believe it or not, it's their left tooth that sticks out of their upper lip! Their horn can grow up to 9 feet! Amazing huh?
During summer, it feeds on the easy-to-catch fish of shallower waters. So sightings of a narwhal would be more likely in the Summer. Hope you enjoyed this week's "Animal of the Week!" Please enjoy these pictures of Narwhals! Thanks for reading!
